Project American Heroes 3 is a fantastic 1970 Chevelle built by Route 66 Motorsports to be auctioned off to raise funds for the Armed Forces Foundation. Our buddy Shafi Keisler caught up with Bill Jelinek at the Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals show in Rosemont, IL, for the tour of this trick Chevelle. It features a new GM LSA supercharged engine, TCI 4L80E transmission, Detroit Speed suspension, and about a million other cool parts. Route 66 Motorsports is proud to announce that it is one of the very first to install the E-Force Super Charger on a 2010 Camaro automatic. What we found here at Route 66 Motorsports is that there is no cutting or modifying needed to install the complete system under the stock hood. If at any time we find it necessary to return the car to stock, the system can be removed and all the stock parts can be reinstalled. Edelbrock’s instruction folder was very informative with color photos and step by step instructions. The whole install process was very simplistic due to its well thought out design and engineering.

on Friday, April 10, at the 7th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car auction in Palm
Beach, Florida raising an astounding $500,000 for The Armed Forces Foundation. It
brought the highest selling price of any vehicle at this year’s event. The success of this
year’s sale was beyond our wildest dreams.
We would like to congratulate the new owner of the Project American Heroes II 1969
Chevy Camaro. We hope that he will enjoy the car and we thank him for his generous
contribution to the men and women of the Armed Forces Foundation.
We would like to offer a special thank you to our talented employees who contributed
their time and skill to build this beautiful automobile, Super Chevy Magazine, Ed
